Olga Kirilina is a freelance artist that specializes in creating glass objects that combine a purpose with
aesthetic beauty. She works out of her studio.
Olga finished glass working school in Ottawa where she developed basic skills. After that she was able to take lessons with internationally acclaimed artists. These
valuable lessons provided additional knowledge of specific techniques including: Venetian glass sculpting,
Japanese flower making, and traditional glassblowing. In 2016 an exclusive jewelry brand OLIK was born. Every year Olga participates in national art shows and festivals. Since 2017 she offers classes for those who desire to learn the glass magic.

Two types of classes are offered for your convenience.
1. Master-class that includes three days of tutoring. At the end of this class you will have completed your jewelry project. From the very beginning you will learn how to make beads, create required beads for your design and put them together into a finished piece of jewelry.
2. One-day class to introduce you to the basic principles in creating glass beads. At the end of the class you will have created 3-4 beads of your own design.

Basics of safety while working with fire.
Learn Control and manipulation of molten glass.

Expand on more techniques to decorate a glass bead using stringers, twisties, dots. Learn use of special tools.
Creating more complex beads to stand out in your jewelry piece.

With help and guidance combine your handmade beads into a bracelet or a necklace.
You will be offered a choice of additional accent beads, spacers and necessary closures from an assortment at the studio.
